Default New Member Needing Help: Height Light (Yes, I've searched the forum).

Hey folks,

Long time owner with a long time problem. Since I've owned my car (95) the height light has been flashing and the front of the car will go in to High mode for a while, then a few miles down the road, it will return to normal. While removing a strut this weekend (I used tire slime to patch a leak, but that's a different story) I saw what appears to be the height control arm coming off the suspension attached to another adjustable arm. Could it be that somewhere in the past this has come out of trim and the car senses it is riding low?

Any thoughts?

Any and all insight is appreciated. Please keep the tire slime insults to a minimum

Hello and welcome to Club Lexus.
I take it you are running air suspension on the LS?
I posted this link a while ago but here it is again.

The flash means there is a code. Find your code and research that. Dont waste your time guessing at it!

Yup check the code n don't waste time guessing the problem. There should be a thread on how to check it n read the flash count so it tells u what is wrong with it

Hello RA40,

I Don't get on the forum often but I try to help those that need it when I can. Sometimes you have to back away or it will consume enormous amounts of attention. Thanks for noticing....
