Default Need help with Nardi wheel/NRG QR setup

Just ordered a Nardi Classic wheel but was wondering what hub I should get. I read that any Toyota NRG short hub will work so I was thinking of just ordering one that fits the Supra. Then I'm planning to get the NRG Slim QR. Does anyone have experience with a setup similar to this? NRG Slim vs NRG 2.5 gen? Btw this is all going into a 93 ls400.

NRG is just more affordable than like a works bell hub

sometimes it only takes 1 bad impression to ruin a company for someone. if you havent any problems with NRG go for it, their products are on the cheaper side though.

when I got my harness bar from them the seatbelt loop snapped off just putting a little force on it. I can only think what would happen if I got in a accident

to be fair, there's a distinct difference between a vital safety component and a relatively simple steering hub...

Yeah, I suppose theres no danger in your steering wheel locking up and or falling off while you drive...

lol the last NRG hub i had in my hand was all metal between the spindle and the hub.

would love to know how that can "lock up" or "fall off" when installed properly...

I dunno, I wouldn't put it past NRG though.... I never owned an NRG hub but my NRG QR literally fell apart, and thats all metal.

Never had any problems with NRG quick releases. I had the old Gen 1.0

Never used their hubs though, had an NKB hub from Japan
