Default OEM crush washer made where?

Would anyone happen to know where Toyota makes its OEM crush washers? Japan? US? Somewhere else?

Which one/where?

I bought a few some years back for the tranny pan and those were Japan. These days it varies, I have yet to see "China".

The oil drain plug crush washer. Replaced when doing an oil change.

You can go to the Toyota dealer and purchase the same one in the parts dept. They aren't that expensive...

Yes, soft metal such as aluminium or copper will work what you have to keep in mind is torque. You will have to adjust the torque so that you do not over-stress the oil pan thread

Like "Craig B" said you can get them cheap at Toyota dealer part # 90430-12031 or sewell online http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...1999/2627.html
My Local Toyota dealer sell them for $ 1.05each while my local Lexus stealer sell them for $3.16 each. They come in a park of 10, just buy a park and keep them in ur garage.
