just checking in
Hello guys it has been awhile since I have been here.
My 92ls400 is running really good.
160 plus thousand miles my mileage gauge quit working.
original plug wires, original everything really except the spark plugs and alternator.
original timing belt also.
I have had the intake off 3 times for sensor problems when I first got it. cleaned both intakes and put new sensor wire harness
Car will still burn rubber. synthetic oil stays light color the whole time it is in the car. I normally change it at 3000 miles.and it does not loose any oil.
It has minor problems but
I love this car.

well I have had the car for a year and a half. I do not think the lady who owed it put synthetic. But I like it. apparently it doesn't break down as fast as conventional oil.
I buy it because I can afford too and it doesn't cost that much more.
But if your on a budget regular oil is fine keeping it changed regularly is important.

Thanks vaughn37, I know a lil about cars but wasnt sure if it would make a lot of difference. I have owned a 93 Es300, 99 RX300, 97 es300, 92 sc400 and now this 95 LS400 and never thought of using synthetic... i have heard about it but since you posted you use it and your love for your ride; it made me really think about "your car will take care of you;if you take care of it.lol .. can you posts some pics of your LS?or are they in the gallery already?
