Sorry. No accidents. Owned by an older couple that just traded it in for a new LS 460. It does have Navi. Car is nice inside and out. Dealer wants 13200 for it.

if it's that clean with full maint. records that's a 12.5-14k car all day long, if not a tiny bit of excess markup at a dealer for such low miles.

These days, $11-13K should get you a darned nice early LS430 in a private party sale. IMO, Florida is one of the two best places in the U.S. to find the least expensive, nice low mileage Lexus LS cars with the other being the Phoenix/Scottsdale metro area.

And ... avoid 98-00 LS400's with navigation. It's a pretty pathetic system compared to today's nav systems and the final update was in 2004.

But if you really want this 2000 LS400, offer no more than $9,000 and stick to your guns. It's only worth that much due to its low miles. You'll need the extra money to buy an HVAC controller out of a non-nav car (about $150 on eBay) and to get rid of the nav screen based radio.

it is ls430 money, but normal mileage LS430 money, not something that's got <70k on it.

Yes a lot of LS's in Florida. But the one I want is black on black. You have a better chance of finding a unicorn in Florida. As to all the black interior Lexus's seem to go up North due to the hot weather in FL.

From the stand point of a @k 400 with only 56K miles its a good price, but in reality its probably only worth around 7-9. If you don't mind paying too much you will at least sleep well at night knowing that it should give several years of trouble free driving. Of course if something happens to it you will be out the money. Remember one thing, although this is a great car everything gets old and starts to fail and when you need a repair it will be costly. By the way, I drive the same car and love it.

if that's the car you want, try to make an offer and see what happen. You never know. If you are looking for value, good deal, then keep looking, it might take a while. On the other hand, if you are looking for what you want, paying a little more seems ok to me (of course just make sure you don't overpay )
Good luck

Lexus of North Miami has a black on black 2001 LS 430 but priced way to high 16K with 76K miles no Navi. A year newer with 23K more miles 3 K more not worth it even though it's the color combo I'm looking for.

I personally would buy a 2000 over a 2001 only because the 2000 is the last and most refined of the first/second gens. I wouldn't buy the first model year of pretty much any car.

I bought this car. Once I saw the condition t was a no brainer. Previous owner was maticulous with this car. He already had the 60K full lexus service done to it. Due to the age of the car a year ago timing belt, valves, and water pump were done at the lexus dealership. Front brakes have been done. Navigation system has been updated. All the sevice and oil changes done at lexus dealership. 1 owner car with 53K miles. I will upload pics a little later today. I took some with my digital camera.
