i had to take the rack out on our 90, because there was a bracket in the way and i couldnt use our innertie rod puller on that side the driverside you wouldnt have to drop the rack just the passenger, if i was you i would pull the rack fix the inner and outer both sides and never have to do it again. thats what i did , there may be a way around that bracket but i didnt know it...

Not sure what has to come out b/c I never did inners but if you're gonna do 1 side you might as well do ALL tie rods at the same time. I saw this tool today while looking for something else. http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...set-96558.html

Did you get the tool from Harbor Freight? I was reading the customer reveiws and most of them talk about putting shims in to take up the slack to help it work better. Just wondering b/c eventually I might have to do mine, maybe.

yeah i got mine there it was liike 50 bucks or something..., i could have just rented it from autozone but i want to also replace these on my camry and our sc400 also so i figured for 50 why not just buy it. it made it a breeze though it just slid over the tie rod and then you put the right size piece on the tierod and turn the steel tube and whoila!!
