hey
my valve cover is cracked where it bolts to the head.
can someone hook me up with a place that sales them.
Im having a hard time finding one, I need the drives side.
car is a 1997 coach

Never heard of one being cracked,it must have been torqued down unevenly or over tightened.
Lexus price for new is around $350.00 although with discount it will be less,have you looked on ebay for a breaker or a local breakers yard?
Another option is to have it TIG welded with it being alloy or use epoxy resin as a last temporary resort.

LS400 are a dime a dozen in junkyards these days. There are 10 junked LS400's within a 25 mile radius of my home. Look in your phone book for self service salvage yards. You should be able to get one for less that 30 bucks.
