Talking Hello From Maine and my 1992 Ls400

Hello everyone I'm a noob to the club lexus community. I have been interested in Toyota's since 1990 when I saw my first Celica all-trac. I was 8 years old then and am now 29. I still tinker with tuners but just picked up a LS400 for $800. I am an auto-motive Technician so I will be exploiting this site as much as possible. I also think I may be able to help people with all the little things(glitches) they have.(my best friend is a 6 year toyota tech).

I've owned many diffrent vehicles. 1992 celica, 1994 accord,1994and95 civic coupe and sedan. 98 protege, 95 millenia, 94 es300, 97maxima, 96 c280, 97saab 900 se turbo. There are a few I'm missing I'm sure. My current Vehicles are 1994 ES300 1992 LS400 and 1997 acura integra.(I hate car payments)

My favorites have always been the toyota's because I was driving them more than I was fixing them. My first luxury car was the Mercedes c280. I liked the car for how smooth it was and its ability to turn and be balanced and smooth but the repairs were atleast my months rent every time it needed them. ($975) I was twenty years old and wasn't a tech yet. So I crashed the Benzo in 2006 and bought an ES300 used. I was in the auto-tech program in 2006 so all the repairs were done by me and I realized how ffordable owning a decent car was. The ES was as smooth as the benz but felt heavier. It took alot less effort to drive the ES but it felt less sporty.

now I have this LS 400 that I am going to commit to and customize. I loved its buttery smoothness. Even with 2 bad motor mounts and 195K on the motor Its still buttery smooth around Town. Sorry for the long winded intro. All your help will be much appreciated.
