Default Rear wheel bearings

How difficult is it to replace a noisy rear wheel bearing on a 1993 LS400?

It depends on your mechanical skills, your tool set and whether you have access to a press.
Personally I would remove the hub assembly then take it to a local engineering facility to have the bearing removed and the new one pressed in then reassemble onto the car.
It's not that difficult if you know what you are doing a good service manual will help.

Wheel bearings have to be pressed in. Can be a difficult job for the "backyard" mechanic to achieve if not throughly versed in mechanical skills.

Several years ago I used a diagram that I obtained online to dissemble and change a front
wheel bearing on my Lexus. I did have the new bearing pressed into place by a profession-
al. Is it any more difficult than that?

Not to mention if you don't put it in right.
