brandon's list would be a lot shorter if he only listed parts that he actually ended up putting on instead of all the stuff he bought tried then changed his mind

Can't even argue with that one. You do have a point. His list WOULD be much shorter.

Lot of work. Did your original differential fail, or was that replacement one of the things you just found a great deal on and threw in there? My '91 with 172k+ miles still has the original.

All I have to say in my defense is I now realize the huge difference in how something looks in photos vs real life! :P

SOMEONE has to make sure interesting 1ls stuff occasionally populates the ls for sale forum!

with all that said trukn and pd, you guys are still right... I cant really argue the point only justify it haha.

The car had a driveline vibration when I bought it. It ended up being a driveshaft that was out of balance. I think it had gone on for some time before I got the car, and it took its toll on the rear diff bearings.

Here's a pic of the car...

Clean....

I've done a few things.. I really need to get the suspension figured out, but so far... standalone ECU, Turbocharger, Tial WG, Greddy BOV, IS300 wheels.. to name a few.

Jim, your list makes me feel better!

In the next week alone I am doing:

Radiator
Power steering pump
water pump
timing belt
idler bearings
trans mount

and just replaced HID bulb(s)
replaced both OEM sylvania's, 11 years old, with aftermarket in September and had one going on and off intermittently. Seller sent me one bulb on warranty and installed today. Haven't tested but in the recent cold both had been working so will not be definitive until some time has passed. Hope it is just the bulb. Heard aftermarket bulbs have some issues like this.

Have 175k and all original shocks, rear suspension, u-joints and CVTs, bearings, sensors and more. Did Arnott upper control arms, OEM strut bars, OEM lower ball joints and Denso iridiums. Expecting starter and fuel pump can't be far away. Have engine mounts in route via USPS.

Changed the oil, put in a new radio... Only other things I plan on doing are adding Bluetooth to the radio, refreshing the bushings, new leather on front seats/shifter/center console, tinted windows and standard maintenance.

239k miles now and I plan on doing everything I can to put another 239k miles on it.
