What are these wires for?
I have a 96 LS400 and I am having some issue with some rats chewing up some wires in the engine compartment. Does anybody knows what the wires pointed by the arrow in the picture are for?
Thanks
Charles

Hi Mike,
It is a green with a black stripe wire. Anyway I did repair the wire and it did fix the issue with my power steering problem (Hard to steer). I think it controls the power steering solenoid valve. I wish I figure this out before I replaced the PS pump!
Thanks,
Charles

Glad you got it figured out...unlike my past Toyota manuals, that had the color combos showing position in the harness, the Lexus is far more complex. If I recall right was a separate volume for electrical which I didn't get. What I make of it is this is a switched wire and where it connects to
Maybe another member here has a body wiring diagram or knows for first hand.
