Default Wheel Fit Question - NEWB!

Sorry - trying to help a buddy out with a wheel purchase and I've searched but can't find exactly what I need to know and this may be easier

Buddy has a 95 LS400 and wants to buy some rims, I found him some Work Euroline DH's in 19x8 +40 O-disk (or whatever Low-Disk is for Work, can never remember) and am wondering if that offset will work or not.

From what I've read so far, it seems a little low for an 8" wide rim on these cars and may be a little too far inside the fender well to look good...could really use the experts advice here!

TIA

low-disk won't fit on the front brakes of a 95-00 LS400 without at least a 15mm spacer.

search for the wheel fitment thread.

Awesome - thanks for the help. I remember reading the wheel thread a week ago or so but couldn't find it when I searched today for some reason...

That's what I was thinking, but with a 15mm spacer...we should be far enough out where it doesn't look bad and he can still put some tall-ish rubber on to help keep the ride smooth!

Anyone else running a similar setup? Tips? Advice?

best advice was to check the wheel fitment thread. you have tons of wheel/suspension specs to work off.

but the specs you listed are weak to the point of "wait for something better".
