Talking Clear signal opinions?

Hey guys so i plan on sprucing up the 95 ls400 a little bit,not much, so i wanna know your opinions on the clear front signal lights, and super bright white leds instead of the amber bulbs. i never see any around here so im not 100% sure if they look good on the car. The car is pearl white and grey bottom. So let me know if i should do it or not and if any one has any pics of what it would look like!

Thanks!

The clear lenses look awesome in my opinion. They make the car look sooooo much newer. I'd watch out with those white lights though, if they're the signal lights, they may need to amber to be legal. Check your local laws.

Im deciding on doing it on my 96 too. As much as i want to keep it stock and original the clear ones are nice and make the car so much newer though

The clear lenses look so much better than stock. It just gives it a cleaner look. I have them on my 93 but I need to change them back b/c the lens leaks and lets too much water in and shorts out the bulb. About the white lights, I highly doubt that is legal in any state, you're gonna have to go with the amber.

Oh okay, i just prefer the look of the white led lights instead haha, but if i do get them will i need a resister? i heard it would hyperblink if i didnt have one, either that or it would tell me i have a bad bulb..

I replaced my OEM lenses with the clear ones but one leaked in water damaging the reflector so I replaced them with the smoked ones which look good as the paint is dark silver and up to now no leaks.
Quality seems to vary so I would reseal the new ones with silicon before fitting.
As for the LED lights you can by amber replacements but you will need either ballast resistors or if you replace both front and rear turn lamps with LEDs you can buy a direct plug in electronic flasher unit which eliminates the need for the ballasts.

ok, ill make sure i reseal them, i think im only replacing the front signals with leds, and the rear license plate lights, and probably the step/courtesy lights thats about it. So if it just the front ones and i just plug them into the sockets with out resisters, what will happen? haha just trying to make sure i understand all of this before i buy it and not know what to do with them!

It will cause your turn signals to blink at a much faster rate.

I see, is it crazy insanely fast? or just a little faster than normal signals? If its like a strobe light ima just stick to my normal amber ones...

Crazy fast would be about right. Not quite strobe light fast though.

"Hyper flash" types. I like how fast LED's are to respond...not like the gradual on-off glow of incan bulbs. The diamond clears look good but that usually couples with the headlights so that they match up.

Like Lexkost's LS400 front...looks right IMO. To get that, needs the headlights, corners and if rocking the bumper markers, those too.

That's exactly what i wanted to do! I didn't want the diamond clears cause it doesn't match up with the headlights. But i was gonna get led side markers to match up with the signals! I'm just gonna try it without a resistor, see if i like it or not, and trying to find some switchbacks if anything! I'm hoping this looks good!
