Default Suspension questions

So I am going to replace most of the pieces in the suspension, my car wonders nervously on the road. Especially when you are crossing the lanes over the ridges on the highway. It follows the ridges and is quite floaty on the back. My friend, a mechanic, agreed that at 144k shocks should be replaced. I repalced ball joints, tie rods. My plan is to change strut rods and upper control arms. I do drive a bit agressively, according to my lady. I hardly think so, but she is often right. So I am a bit harsh on corners, but I do like comfortable ride. I do have couple of questions.
1) with replacing of struts do I need to replace all the shock mounts? How do you know they are bad? Any suggestions. Does it matter which brand they are? I am sure I would go KYB if needed.
2) according to what I read on the forum KYB seem to be a lot harsher than the originals. How do Bilsteins compare to KYB with original springs? Are the KYB really that harsh or only with aftermarket springs?
3) what is the best place to buy original Lexus parts?
4) one more, the springs how do you know they need replacing, I am sure they tire out at some point? Thanks

1. If the strut mounts are worn, then replace.
2. The Bilstein HD will have two perch settings, the lower one will allow you to lower the car about 1/2" on the stock springs. IMO, these are a better choice than the KYB GR2 struts.
3. Carson Toyota, Sewell Lexus along with others in the vendor section.
4. The springs should not need replacement.

The OEM in mine were dead at 60K and so were the strut bar bushings. I dunno where the previous owner drove the car...must have been the Baja 1000.
