Default Coolant hose to Throttle Body?

Anyone know if the 3/4" O.D. hose in front in front of the engine that goes to the top of the Throttle body is a coolant hose on a 99LS?
If it is, what is it for & can it be plugged to keep the intake cooler?

if we're talking about the same hose then i believe yes it is and yes you probably could plug it but being in colorado you'd be screwed in the winter.

Ya, good point. It seems to make the TB really hot though. Just looking for some free HP.
