somewhere around 2500 rpms i believe but here is a filter related article..and yes u r right,like i said previously...if u change ur oil at regular intervals then its 6 of one half dozen of another. its when u go beyond that,thats when u can run into problems using cheaply made filters such as fram...they have been known to collapse

Default Crush Washer

One more follow up: Toyota crush washers seem to be made of some sort of blue, non-metallic material. Crush washers from Lexus (when buying the same exact filter) are shiny metal. Are the two crush washers interchangeable?
