Hello Everyone,

I just replaced my hood struts yesterday.

I know have to push quite hard for the hood to start moving downward.

Is this normal? It also almost feels like one strut is stiffer than the other when pushing down on the hood.

Once the hood starts moving it's easy to keep pushing down.

I love the fact that the hood goes up easily.

Mine which I got abouts 2 weeks ago were pretty tough for about the first week or so. But now its fine takes me one hand to push it down.

Mine is pretty much the same.

Some people have removed one strut and still manage to keep the hood open without it falling.

Yeah I tried one strut and actually that was strong enough to keep the hood up.

It seems to be getting a little less stiff with additional opening and closing.
