hey guys i was just wondering, i've had this problem for as long as i know and never got to it. the fuel door won't open by pulling on the switch under the dash, so everytime i pump gas i have to open the trunk and pull the manual switch in the first aid compartment. is there a fuse that might be blown. just wondering if anyone else had this problem and might have a fix.

To me sounds like either a fuse is bad or the solenoid has gone out.

yea i don't know where the fuse for the fuel door is.....

sounds definitly like the solenoid. try hitting the flap button numerous times while driving i had one going bad one time and had to open it while driving into the gas station. or pull the release of course

ok im trying to take the solenoid off right now and i can't take the darn thing off!!! i've spent about 2 hours trying to take it off. the problem is that the body is round so i have no grip to unscrew the big screw on the other side. some one please help.......................
