Thanks Jim, I saw your other reply and picked some up from Lexus, dumb old me I actually had these same bushings replaced on my 91 ls400 a few years ago, I even picked them up from Lexus and watched my mechanic install them back then. After you mentioned rear carrier bushings I remembered, I was told it was a bearing, but a second opinion confirmed what you suspected. My cousin works for Lexus I got the pair for $40 instead of $140, and my mechanic is installing them tomorrow for $80, thanks again.

LOL! .....

BTW, ask him to wrap the 19mm bolts with two courses of teflon tape and cover them with silicone grease before he puts them back in. It may help to alleviate any squeaking down the road due to the new bushing being made from polyurethane.

I read your message after I came back from the shop, I dont think he put the teflon tape, he did grease them up. The car feels like new, only thing now is that I'm getting a whistling sound in the front drivers side brake, when I'm braking, it wasnt there before, I had the car towed by AAA autoclub and the guy told me he had to grab onto something, I didnt pay much attention, hopefully he didnt mess anything up and its just a brake pad or something simple.

Maybe a little rust on the rotor from sitting. Hopefully it will go away.
