Default Hood Struts (Supports)

Anyone recommend a good online vendor to get the hood supports for my 98 LS400?

Thumbs up Thanks

Hey I appreciate that. Never know what you get from an ebay store, but I have had more luck than not, so here's hoping it works out. I be looking for you thoughts. Thanks again.

Here's what you need......Mighty Lift part number 95029. (78-93 Ford / Mercury Hatch struts) .

Just remember you must cut out the old ball screws form your old struts and then they snap into your new ones.

Just ordered mine from Parts Avenue on Ebay. $55.87 CAD shipped to Canada - not bad considering my other quote elsewhere was $180

Thanks guys

I think I've found the solution:

Once you hit buy it now you are directed to another screen where you can input your code.

Subtotal: US $29.98
Total Shipping & Handling US $23.00
20% global: 20%
Total Discounts: US $4.60
Order Total: US $48.38

Thanks alot Billydpowe I've saved about 5 Canadian bucks!

Default 1998 LS400 Hood Struts

Thanks, I just finished the purchase transaction on Parts Avenue (ebay). A lot cheaper than the dealer. I appreciate the tip!

You can use vise grips to do that. I replaced mine with ones from ebay and they work fine.
