Hello everyone,

I've been thinking of getting a steering wheel cover for our 98 Ls400.

I think with time the wheel will/may wear out and not look very nice...especially considering I have the all leather steering wheel.

Does anyone here have a steering wheel cover on their ls400 steering wheel?

Hi,

On my 91LS with the all leather wheel, I ended up buying leather dye and refinishing it. It was in pretty tough shape, especially at the 8 to 10 o'clock position. I'd never tried anything like this before with leather, but I must say, when I was finished with it, it looked brand new. That was over two years ago and it still looks great. It requires you to sand down the areas that have deteriorated, plus a light sanding to the whole wheel for good adhesion, but what do you have to lose? I thought about a cover at the time, but I'm glad I didn't go that route.
