Does anyone with a 93 have EBC green stuff brake pads? I'm asking cause I just talked to the US EBC warehouse and they've told me that pads for that car have never made it over here from the UK. Does anyone know of a UK shop I could order them from? Or perhaps a shop that has imported them from the UK? I'd really like to get these pads but I need them NOW. Looks like good old OEM parts for me. Thanks.

OEM break pads are pretty good...my cr stops like crazy.

A Toyota mechanic told me he uses aftermarket parts a lot, but for brake pads, he always uses Toyota OEM.

I'm not too thrilled how my OEM pads squeak and squeal though, even with the anti-squeal treatment.

You should be able to get the EBC green stuff front brake pads. I don't believe they make them for the back.
The place I got mine from is Tire Rack, just keep in mind I have SC400.

I talked to Tirerack and they said they didn't even have a guess when they would get pads in for the 93 LS400. They list the fronts on their site but they get their pads from the US EBC warehouse like everyone else. Like I said earlier the warehouse told me they haven't even imported these pads from England yet. Another company, brake warehouse I think, went so far as to tell me that they haven't even manufactured these pads yet. EBC told me this wasn't true. They've got them in England, so if someone finds a company that will ship overseas you could probably get them. I already gave up and expect my OEM pads from Carson Toyota in a few days. The $48 they're charging me is better than the $72 my dealer wanted.
