Default Thinking about getting an LS

I have been part of this forum since Jan '10. I already own a Platinum 00 GS300 but I ran across this LS. I have always wanted an LS and can get this one for $1800. What do you guys think?

177K easy freeway miles, runs and drives like new. dose not burn or leak a drop of oil.
4.0 V8, 18 -22 mpg, just smogged and registered. Ac needs charged, everything else works.
Front driver side fender has dent, other that that paint and body is good. Tires have 50% tread
Leather interior has some tears in the seat.

Should I bother with it? I just want to clean it up and use it a a commuter car for about a year. Is $1800 a good deal?

You didn`t mention anything about service history. that might be the deal maker or breaker. What year is it?

The mileage, interior , exterior all are not good for this vehicle.

I'd pass this potentially big head ache.
