Default 1992 LS400 Instrument Cluster

Apologies if this has been addressed here before. My speedometer and tachometer indicator needles: the outer half of each needle is dark. At first I thought that the LED segments had simply "died," but when my headlights are "on," the outer halves of the needles flicker.

This must be a common problem. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Default Dyi ???

Thanks for the BBA-Reman suggestion. But actually, I was wondering if there is a DYI solution to this problem. I'm fairly handy with a soldering iron...

This forum should have a similar sticky:

http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...p?showtopic=83

However, if you use the Search, you'll find many threads here.

Added, actually we do, check out the first pinned thread here. It has several links.

I am not sure what search clause of "bbrman" or "BBA-Reman" will get you. I am in need of possibly a remanufactured indicator needle for my 93 LS, instrument cluster but do not know how to get them via ebay. When I get them, what is involved in replacing them? Any lead would be appreciated. cmk033@yahoo.com

Here you go http://www.bba-reman.com/ca/index.aspx

I'm in Canada they fixed mine for a good price. They are international. I had problems with sticky tach and speedo, half-lit needles, on cold days no lghting on dash at all until car warmed up, unreadable LCD on climate control and a couple of bulbs out in the climate control. They fixed it all. However, I had to send back a second time as they didn't completely fix the sticky needles first time now they're 95% better only one day did I notice the tach stcik since I had the final fix about 2-3 mths ago. I sent mine to Ontario as I;m in Canada. However they are international have outlets around the globe. for a higher price, there's someone in Calif. on this board who fixes and likley does a more thorough job. Jim is fisrt name I believe search the threads

Stevie,

Thank you for the information. I did search for "BBA-Reman" and "bbreman" from ebay but could not find the BBA Reman. This is one sure information that I can use. Thanks again.
