i have a 1992 ls400 need to change the shock on the car the dealer is asking me for $800 to change only the rear shocks and the front for $900 can someone help me with a website where i can buy them for less and and also some details on how to change the shock.

Find yourself an independent Toyota shop to have this service done. Usual install prices in So. Cal hit about $250. Figure for a set of basic struts for all four corners will be about $375 or so. If you need the strut mounts due to wear, those are about $70 each.
