Default Picked up my first LS today...

95 LS400, i dont know how to tell what package it is or anything.

140k miles
exterior is a 9 out of 10
interior is a 9 out of 10

i got really really lucky purchasing this car, the deal popped up, and i was in the right place, at the right time, with cash.

needs:
new bumper lights
new wiper blades (i prefer bosch icon's on everything)
35% tint on driver, and pass front windows
new brake light bulb
new clock (hour button is missing)
brake pad sensor is broken (old owner admitted to breaking it when putting the new brakes on)
pass headrest is stuck in the up position (need to figure this one out)

even though the interior is allready really clean, im going to have it professionally detailed, and then i will use the popular leather treatment found on these forums for all the leather (cant remember the name of the product)

time to do more research/lurking

Nice! Looks just like mine used to

Mine also needs tint and a brake pad wear sensor replacement.

I also see you've got temp Illinois plates - where in this state are you?

And because someone will ask, I may as well beat them to it:

What was the deal on this car that made you buy it right then and there? I'm also assuming the 100,000 mile maintenance has been completed and documented?

100k mile maintenance was performed at a lexus dealer, and i have reciepts for everything since 2001 when the car had 40k miles.

the winning factor about this car for me is how clean it is inside and out, everything has reciepts, the aftermarket stereo system, and the price payed was $3100.

im in gurnee illinois.

Im not budgeting coilovers, wheels/tires until spring 2011. For now i just want to clean it, make it 100% as far as tint, stereo, and misc interior things that need to be perfect, then ill get the best mpg out of it, and prepare it for winter
