Put HIDs in my 96 LS...
Hello all. I had an HID kit for my Geo Metro just sitting around while i was finishing that car and me and a bud got a little curious. We decided that we were going to replace the 9006 bulbs in the fog lights with the 5000k HIDs just to see what it looked like.
We think it turned out pretty well, the pics dont really do them justice, as the light kinds bleeds over to the halogens. It's not blinding at all and looks really good. The light spread in front of the car is much better than factory.
Here are some pics:
We plan on eventually doing a retrofit with some of the clear lense headlights on ebay(using either e55 projectors or LS430 projectors), but for now this will hold us over.
Thanks for looking,
Kyle

I'll get some tomorrow night. I'd say it goes out at least 10ft in front of the car and out to the side a good bit.
I can't wait to do a "proper" retrofit on the main beams.
