Im posting for my little brother. I drive a sc300, my brother has a 93 ls400.

He failed his smog and Im trying to help.

These are the numbers he gave me.

No (ppm) max 524 ave 116 meas 646 fail. He said he passed everything but the 15 mph.


So what could it be? I dont really know how to read this stuff.


If you guys with ls's could help me out so I can relay the info back to my borther that would be great!

I can't recall the routine now since it has been a spell. Anytime my cars failed a smog, it eventually wound up being the EGR valve and pipe. Get the pipe cleaned and the egr replaced, it should be good to go.
