I need a power steering cap for the reservior
In of immediate help,advice, point me in the right directions. Ok i need a new cap to my powersteering reservior. The hood of the car came down on it when i was refilling the reservior. I need a replacement. The car make is LS400 1994. Also the car is leaking power steering too, but I dont know if i were to buy the powering steering fluid with the stop leakage system will actually work. Please help and thanks in advance

Search search search,,,good grief.
May I suggest you call a junkyard service that has access to many junkyards around the country and give the year ,make and part you want and they will SEARCH for you.

Cap--- local junkyard will have one fairly cheap. You can use one from an LS or an SC; it will fit.
There is NO SUCH THING AS A MIRACLE IN A CAN. If your power steering is leaking it will need to be fixed. These "stop leak" products do little more than slow the problem down, short term, but can cause more problems(long term). Check the stickied section at the top of this forum for the power steering bible, and use the search feature here. The power "steering leak" has been discussed MANY times here before and you may find some VERY USEFUL advice on how to fix, and/or what you can do to save some money doing so. Bottom line, the leaky PS does need to be fixed. It will eventually take out your alternator, since the PS reservior sits directly over top of it.
