Default Transmission clunk

I searched but couldn't find it. I remember reading about a bushing or something deteriorating on the tranny. If I'm cruising down the highway, put in nuetral for a few seconds and put in drive, the tranny will jump a little and I hear a clunk. It's not the u-joints. The shifter does vibrate some, it has since I bought it so I never really thought anything about that. Also when I start the car sometimes it sounds like the tranny jumps. Is this bushing I'm thinking of hard to change? Is it a DIY or does it have to be pressed in?

Another question. When it shifts to 2nd it seems like it shifts too quick. Is that normal?

TIA

Trans mount bushing search again. 1-2 is a pretty quick shift under light throttle

Thanks but it was the propeller shaft bushing I was thinking of. I finally found the thread I was looking for after seaching for a while. I'll check it out in a few days. Trying to stay in the A/C as much as possible. It sucks getting old.
Thanks for the answer on the quick shift.
