Clean install. 2 screens seem redundant though.

looks like a kenwood 2din headunit to be exact.

not at all a fan of the install, looks dumb, plus it's so low down that using it while driving is going to be dangerous. no reason this is any better than getting a dash kit and putting it in place of the OE screen and using a non-navi CC.

Nice workmanship but the add-on nav screen is way too low to be safe to view while driving. And the angle of the screen will likely cause the screen to "wash out" from sunlight. About the only "benefit" I can see is that it might allow watching movies without getting ticketed for having a video screen viewable from the driver seat.

I've seen non-nav 98-00 LS HVAC controllers on eBay in the $100 range. One of those and a dash kit to use to replace the OEM nav with an aftermarket nav would have been a much better solution.

At this point in the life a 98-00 LS400 losing an OEM nav shouldn't hurt a car's value and if anything might improve it. Not many are going to want six year old maps that come with the old gen one OEM nav when no more updates will ever be available.

it is pretty dumb though, shouldve just replaced the stock OEM navi and called it a day. think about it, when u put up ur portable gps...where do u mount it? on your windshield right? why is that? so u can see it better...putting it above the shifter is just plain stupid and dangerous.
