Default new to the lexus scene.

hey guys new to the lexus scene obviously. looking to get a 2nd gen Ls400 and ill install k-sport coilovers or have a buddy of mine make a custom airbag setup. and ill post a pic of the rims im looking at. I come from a large car/truck back ground Hyundai/ Kia, Ford truck, Chevy truck, my most recent project was my 05 KIA sportage supercharged but i blew the motor. I'm looking for a DD that looks pimpin and i love the VIP look.

im just wanting to know what i should look for when i look for a ls400 i was looking more towards the 99-00 just so its a bit newer and have a better chance of it having low miles.

You'll want to search for buying tips. Best one I can offer is to make sure the timing belt has been replaced as well as the water pump at least once if not more based on mileage.
As far as the VIP look you'll find lots of info in the Special Interest - VIP section and even more at vipstylecars.com.

what about intakes, headers and exhaust im thinking about going custom catback since it should be cheaper then most catback setups.

Search those terms you're asking about, and you'll have all the information you could ever want.

Start by looking here:

so looks like I'm making a custom intake and exhaust which is no problem cause I've done plenty of both but I didn't see headers in there does anyone make some cost isn't an issue I had custom ones made for my Sportage and they cost me nearly $1200.

Don't waste your time on an intake. It's been tried and never gave any noticeable gains and some even lost plenty.
Oh ya, I forgot to mention when looking for one of these try and find complete maintenance records and I even went as far as to contact the dealership and talked to the service manager about my car specifically.

and ill just do a custom headerback exhaust. i dont know why you say an intake wont help but im still going to make one.

No, I didn't realize that. Doesn't mean there won't still be products floating around.

there might be a tiny number floating around, but generally S&S made only a few small batches of these 1uz headers.
