90 LS400 firing order backwards! causing a fire. HELP?
i had a really bad miss in my car after i got the starter changed and got it to turn over so i went through all my plugs and alot of them were bad so i changed them all and put new plug wires in (expensive as hell to) and platinum plugs(since that was what was in originally) then when i tried to start it it back fired and caught on fire under my fuel rails. i look under the intake to see puddles of gas. could i have blown a injector ring out from the back fire or would this be something else? i had also been smelling gas already that day. (slightly)

I think your cold start injector is leaking somehow which is on the bottom side of the upper intake manifold almost in the wire with a plug coming out of it . What all did you take apart ?
