Auto Headlights NOT working anymore

Auto Headlights NOT working anymore
OK I'm new to the site so sorry if I'm talking about something that's already in the forum.
So when i switch my headlights to the AUTO on selection it doesn't work. All other modes work except the auto on. I was thinking that it was a fuse but then i noticed that when i switched the headlights on the stereo lights up then turns off. I don't know if something happened when i had my subs and amp wired. kinda has me scratching my head

Has any one experienced this before.
btw its a 94 LS400
