Well at 38yrs old I have had prolly close to 40 cars but most were used and were hobbies then later turned to profit $$$
The only new ones I bought have been

1996 Jeep Cherokee Country (sold at 6000miles)

1998 Volvo s70 (traded at 36kmiles)

2002 Volvo v70 (best car we ever owned despite nightmare stories traded at 95kmiles)

2005 Hyundai Elantra (no sorry this was the best one! traded at 86k miles)

2011 Nissan Versa (so far so good...cheap cars rule!)

1981 Peugeot 505 Turbodiesel (from original owner and the glovebox held a 12 pack of beer and the false horn button popped off to hide your weed...horn was on turn signal)

1985 Mercedes 300td (65k miles from first owner paid $4900 for it in 2004 and sold on Ebay for $12800 1 yr later )

1985 Mercedes 300tdt wagon (from RBM Atlanta parts delivery car immaculate!)

2004 Mitsubishi Montero Limited (the big one!)

1991 Lexus ES250 (Nicest camry you can find!)

1988 Ford Escort GT (yeah dont ask)

1985 Jeep Wagoneer (pig)

1982 Volvo 240 Turbo (swedespeed)

1990 Volvo 760gle (non turbo but with rare PRV v-6)

1992 Honda Civic CX hatchback (bought with 3000 miles for $7000 in 93. 5th gear was so tall it turned 1000rpm at 80mph or so ...had to leave it in 4th on freeway)

1987 Mercedes 300d turbo ( 1 yr only car with a #14 head that will melt)

and my current 1993 LS400 (bought in 95 wit miles in the teens and over 300k now!)

1986 toyota mr2..black..t-tops......got it for $100 because it had a leaky rear main seal.

1987 toyota mr2..silver..t-tops....didnt run. used as a parts car to convert my 86 to an 87.
got everything swaped except the center console because i didnt want move the
ebrake handle from the left side to the right side. it left a bunch of people staring
and scratching their heads.

1991 toyota mr2...non turbo..sunroof.....bought it in san diego. all black,leather.
got t-boned on the driver side from 1994 ford explorer. i was sitting still, she was
doing 40 mph. the door was pushed so far in, that the door panel was touching
the steering wheel...buckled the dashboard. buckled the roof. the space between
the door and door sill was big enough to put your foot through.

1992 toyota mr2 turbo...t-tops.....signal yellow......4 puck racing clutch, .50 trim turbo
bored .20 over, port and polish intake and exhaust manifolds, mbc @18 psi.
10 inch spal fan on the passenger side of the engine lid. aeroware front lip.
toms driver side scoop. recarro blizzard seats.lowered with 93 mr2 springs.
and other little goodies.

1991 toyota mr2 turbo...crimson red..t-tops.....project car.....eventually rebuilt it from the
92. engine/drivetrain, interior,wiring harnesses.. everything.....it went from a shell
to a full car minus the front bumper. and the 92 went from a car...to a shell.
