94 LS400 Electronic Mirror Switch - Broken
Jeeze, just replaced the ball joints and now a new problem...oh well...325,000 miles and something goes bad almost every month. The mirror switch on the left hand side of the dash, just broke (went to adjust my mirror and the switch just pushed into the dash about 1/4 inch and now does not work, won't turn mirrors and the right/left switch next to it is broken also). Don't know if it was the freezing cold weather in DC or just wear and tear.
Does anyone know how this switch comes out. Do you slide a knife or instrument in between the dash and the switch and pry/pop it out?...kind of like taking the air ducts of the middle of the dash...or do I have to remove the parking brake hand latch to get at it? Found a used switch on Ebay, but thought I would ask if anyone has any experience with this switch?
Thanks for your help.
