Default LS 460 9 spoke wheels on a 98?

A local tire shop has new take offs from a 2007 LS 460. Tires still have the nipples on them (Touranza 235 50 18) Been sitting for a while, and is willing to deal. Tire calculators indicate the diameter is very close to the stock 225 60 16's currently on the car. I cant find another 2nd gen 400 with these wheels to see how they'd look, and the dealer can't tell me if they'd fit. Anyone had any experience with this combination? Any pics?

Color is Cashmere beige metallic (4m9). Not my favorite color, but the price was right.

Here is a previous thread where someone asked the same question and was told why LS460 wheels don't fit an LS400/430: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...0-fitment.html

different bolt pattern. you could still make it work but not a bolt on affair.

After Kansas pointed out the different bolt pattern, I went to ebay to see what was available. I really like the look of the 460 wheels, and saw some similar wheels that fit the RX/Highlander models. Apparently, they have been redrilled from 120mm to 114.3. (18x7.5, 32mm offset). Is this the mod it takes to make them fit?

they make adapter plates that u just bolt on i was debating on going that rout, its the same concept as spacers that come wit studs on them firc

love the 460 wheels and there was some1 selling an adapter plate on vsc which made it even more tempting

Ichiba has a bolt pattern conversion kit - http://www.ichibausa.com/icbmwwhadco5.html
Only 15mm thick too so it should still fit. Might actually need a bigger spacer to make it flush.

you could do a redrill but i'd probably just go custom hub/wheel centric adapters. that way you can change pcd and space em out at the same time. 2 birds, 1 stone.

thats a bolt to nut conversion as well as pcd. i doubt it would work with stud to stud on oem wheels since they're probably not pocketed for the original studs to poke through.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like my options are adapter plates (stud to stud conversion), or redrilling and adding spacers. Is there a supplier selling adapter plates for this application? Does anyone know the offset for the 98 ls wheels?
