have a 97 ls400 with the factory bbs lexus rims. the center piece and the "saucer" that the rim has is missing. lexus dealer no longer carries the rim parts anyone know were to find the pieces

lexus never offered factory BBS wheels. if they were put on, they are aftermarket by either a previous owner, or a specific dealership.

there was a factory option bbs rs for the ls but what i see much more often is the prime made mesh and the other one.

do you have pictures of the wheels?

Nope, Puredrifter is correct as unusual.

BBS wheels were never an official Lexus option for any year of the LS400. BBS wheels were, however, sold by many Lexus dealers as dealer installed options and were particularly popular on the gen one 90-92 LS400 to replace the less than popular 15" directional wheels.

I was in the Kansas City Lexus dealer the first week they opened in fall 1989 and they already had an extensive aftermarket wheel display for the LS400.

I'd check eBay or a specialty wheel shop for BBS wheel parts -- last time I checked, there were a very large number of BBS wheel center caps on eBay.

i've never actually seen them but there is a bbs oem part number for them. could be foreign market.

I lost parts to this rim a couple of years ago and was able to get new ones through the lexus dealer. They said that the parts were from bbs, but now they no longer carry them

Lexus doesnt have them listed as a factory option so it is safe to say they were a dealership/distributor only option.

got in contact with bbs and they said it was not their rim- maybe an ACT rim have been looking on ebay/center caps.com etc no luck
