Default HOLY Cow...is this right????

My baby (1995 LS400) and I hit a plastic barrier this morning on the way to work. The road narrowed and I was looking away when the impact occured. It totall destroyed my sideview mirror. I have one quite for a part...and they wat $199 for a 14 year old part...I know Lexus can be expensive but that is a bit steep.

Does this sound reasonable??? Is there a "best" place to get replacment parts like this?

I bet the sound of that impact scared the crap out of you!

Good job on the $50 mirror, nice find. I'm bookmarking that site right now!

$199 for a case and glass is not expensive as it comes painted with motor and a heated glass.
Try $400 for my glass alone without housing since it dims as well as comes in bronze or green.

Darn, I live 5min from that wrecking yard, I would've been happy to grab it for you in person. Oh well, good luck.
