99 LS400 + 06 IS350 rims Pics
I'm looking for pictures of this set up. I am about to get a black 99 LS400 and want to put on the 06 IS 250/350 rims. Does anyone have pictures of this and will they fit with no spacers etc? Or other OEM Lexus rims from other models, GS, LS430 Etc. Or maybe a list of OEM rims that fit so I can find pictures of the rims at least. Or is there a catalog with lexus rims in it? No aftermarket please.

Yeah, if you look around you'll find that there a couple running the LS430 wheels you have below, in 18" and in silver. It looks 100% like it is meant to be there, which is what you want when using alternate factory style wheels.
check a few threads, you'll spot them pretty quick.

something doesn't look right with the IS wheels on the LS. I would stick with the 430 wheels to put on the 400. People that know Lexus vehicles will know you put IS wheels on it too. I would suggest sticking to the wheels on your side of the spectrum, i.e. LS is top of the Lexus Line so I would personally put other LS wheels, GS wheels, and Lexus option wheels (Tourmaline, G-Spyder, ISP Modes, Lsportline, TRD, etc.). But wheels are very subjective, so whatever you like is all that matters! Good Luck!

Has anyone WEIGHED their wheels?
The lighter the wheel the better it performs. Lighter wheels make the car faster as well as the suspension quicker.
Stock 16x7s look to weigh 25+ pounds or more. I NEED to weigh mine at next tire change. Anyone else who weighs PLEASE post the weight. Simple fishing scale should do it.
Here is a 17x8 Enkei that weighs 17.9 pounds. That savings of 7-8+ pounds per wheel makes a big difference. 17s are small by todays standards but will keep signifigant sidewall which is a big factor in smooth comfortable performance.
Other benefits to me include 17 inch tires cost less than larger sizes. The 17s are only $275 per wheel. MAT cast constrution that creates a near forged strength in a casting. Enkei is a respected race car wheel supplier including F1. They are also available in 18x8 (20.2 lbs), 18x9.5 (21 lbs) and 19x8 21.1 lbs (8.5)
Would like to hear others light wheel recommendations.
Many are about style. Thats great. Some are about performance. Thats me.
