Default Cross Drilled FINALLY ON!

I put them on today, not a huge difference in stopping speed, maybe a little bit at higher speeds.

mesaurement: 10" 3/4

I feel 'mod-fever' coming on..and no not the 70'/80's british kind..

That's a cool looking golden rotors you got there!
Are the dimensions the same as that of the original rotors, and is your caliper on your 90LS single-pistoned?

Hello, thanks for the compliments!

Celsior god - No I did not get the strut bar on yet, Steve said that they are having a shortage of bars in Japan. The price from Steve was about $120 each.

Hyperopt - yes they are the same dimensions, and I *think single piston paliper. (Is that where you have two compressors on each side?)

If different stopping power is what you are after, changing the type of pad will be a more significant change. Cross drilling rotors is to help the rotors cool faster by allowing hot gases to escape through the holes. You probably won't see an increase in performance until you start doing a lot of hard or continuous braking like on hilly roads or on a race track.

The drill holes look great and i love the color of those rotors, better than the stock silver ones for the LS.

I believe the gold color is attributed to the coating that is used to keep them from rusting while in storage and transit before installation. Correct me if I am wrong in this case.

Yes, they are coated.

I looked at them today and noticed they are worn to the regular silver rotor color.

So better brakign performance comes with better pads huh? I think I might try the TOM's next time.

Yes again, your rotors will perform better than your old stock ones under heavy, hard and continuous braking such as that found on a race track or hilly roads. If you are looking for better stopping power on street driving, changing your pads will be the most significant improvment.

But your rotors look killer and if I had rims that would show them off, I would buy some myself.
