Default Just picked me up a 97 LS400...

Had a 1st gen LS and sold that and went to a 1st Gen GS that was recently totalled...So I picked up a pretty clean 97 LS400. Gonna drop it and put my staggered 20" MRR GT1 on it but what else can I do to get the styling right on this.

Clear corners and the red and white tail lights I know but these years need something to really set it off...Any ideas.
Some pics would be nice too. Yes, ALready did my search and all that.

I have MRR GT1s on my '97 and can tell you from experience the fronts will NOT clear the brakes without a 1/8" spacer. Get one of those and you'll be fine.

I'm not running staggered, just 8.5s all around.

Keep us posted on progress

Man...Good looking out. I was pretty excited to get them on by the weekend. What size tires? Offset? Mine are 20x8.5 ,+20 front and 20x10 +25 Rear. It appears that I might not even need to roll the fenders...your input would help. My tires are 235/30/20 fronts and 255/35/20.

Thanks All!

I'm running a 245/30 R20 on all four corners. My fenders are rolled and I have Megans. I rub at full lock but it probably wouldn't happen as much with a 225 tire. You should have plenty of room in the back with a 255 judging from where my 245s sit. I'm not sure of the offset though. What brand of tire are you looking at? I have Yokohama Avid W4Ss and they've been excellent.

And yeah, I too was excited to get mine on when I first got them. LONG story on that though ha.

This is a write-up/build log of mine:

Really beautiful car, love the color combo.

I'd go chrome or black chrome on the badges, a mild drop, the MRR's, some tint, and a bunch of Zaino, and you are set.

I have falken fk452 in front and Nitto Nt555. I really like NItto NT555 over FAlkens as they are too soft and wear out too fast. Hopefully I have it put together by next week at the latest.

...More pics out there???

Yeah I had Nitto NT 555's and replaced them with Falken F452's. Definitely the Falkens are softer and not as performance oriented IMO. Looking forward to see the pics of your progress brother
