Default Outside temperature stuck at -30ēC

The indicator for the outside temperature is stuck at -30 Celsius. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Does anyone know where the thermometer itself is located?

It's in the lower grille in front.

I don't have a pic of the part but I show a location on the passenger side of the bumper area, right behind the passenger headlight, nearer the center.

Should be an easy to spot item. It is known as the A/C Ambient temp sensor.

Part # 8862514110 Msrp is $30.23 according to MOTOR labor.

Thanks for the responses. I managed to find the component dangling with one of the wires cut. I've twisted the wires together and got the temperature reading properly again.

Only problem I have now is I'm not sure where the component is supposed to be secured. For now it's still left dangling under the hood. Is it supposed to be attached to the passenger headlight or the bumper?

Not sure exactly where, but I'm sure almost any securing method would do. A bracket, some zip ties, whatever. As you can see, as long as the wires are not damaged, it works just fine.
