They're still out there!
I've gotta brag a little on a recent purchase. My son was looking for an Infiniti QX4 and I happened across a 1995 LS 400 with 86,000 miles at a nearby corner dealer. I called our local dealer with the vin and he gave me the history.
A one owner with all scheduled maintenance done at a Lexus dealer. Most notable were ball joints, coils, struts, front and rear brakes at 73k. Belts were done at 60k and the timing belt was done at 42k because that was 6 years from the time it was purchased.
We took a look at it and my son definitely wanted it. There were a few minor scratch's and two small surface rust spots but otherwise the body is in great shape. I'd give the interior a 9 on a 10 scale. No wear on the driver's seat and no rips anywhere else. It needs new floor mats and the seats need conditioned. The steering wheel shows no wear. All electronics work.
We bought it for $6100.
