i have a ls400 can i chip it for more bhp ?

i've seen some mines ecu but only for certain year ranges. what year is your ls? there may also be other options, i'm not sure.

what year? gen 1 no,but i heard they used to have one out for a gen 2 but im not 100% sure. why would u want to make ur car faster,its not a speed demon and i will tell u this, once it starts having problems u will learn how expensive it can be to have it fixed

you can't "chip" these lex/toy ECUs but you could possibly find a used MINE's ecu from japan, it has to be for an 89-92 for your car. 93-94 used a different ECU that won't just plug in.

I guess there isn't a large enough market for somebody to take the time to hack this ECU.

Too bad someone like www.cobbtuning.com hasn't taken on Toyota yet.

agreed mines is the easiest but about $300-1000 if you can find one used .
