We just replaced the engine mounts in our 99 LS
the old ones came out in two pieces, both of them was broken.
tranny mount was replaced earlier, now I have a good solid ride.
took about 3 hours.

Is there a way to tell if it is Tranny only or also engine? Tranny looks so easy
Sorry to revive an old thread but did you tell them you were with clublexus? Sewell online lists it at 126 each for the engine and 84 for the transmission.

Edit:Nevermind, just registered account to Sewell Parts. Much better deal now.

Did my tranny one today. Got my oem part off ebay for $36 bucks. But you do have to jack up the tranny when you put it all back together. Don't know if i want to try the engine ones.

about changing engine mounts: you need to take the AC/heater valve off, otherwise you brake it lifting the engine. I broke mine, damn expensive piece of plastic

This looks like a big job too. So you dont need to remove the power steering rack? I changed the distributer caps and rotors, spark plugs, wires....That took me a long time and i had to remove alot of components via lexls tutorial. Im just not sure if i have the skill for the mounts, how hard are they to replace compared to the distributer caps and rotors?
