im looking to go on the ground no body kit, and im looking into hydros because everyone goes air ride....any body know of any ls's with a hydro setup?
i put hydros on my acura legend and i love it, but now time for adjustable on the lexus....heres a pic of my legend
so im sure the lexus will turn out better!

hydraulics have come a long way in build and ride quality from what i understand. they also lay harder. i'd like to do a juiced w140 build.

much nicer than air
ya, ive had many cars and trucks on air, but with hydros set up correctly! the ride qaulity is often better than air, with hydros you can go lower and if you use accumulators itll ride so nice! too many people hear hydros and think lorider hopping down the street.

Height is a created value of shock height and rod extension .
So if you want to go lower then buy a shorter shock .
It seems hydro has come along way but i so far have not seen anyone who knows about air and hydro inside out . Such as myself who knows air inside out and someone else who did hydro on his benz knowing about hydro and taught me a few things on the newer stuffs specs and possibilities . But together neither of us are well versed in the others ways of setup so they still have negative aspects which may now be resolved.
If you have a shock on a car anything can have air or hydro that is the easy part . The real issue is your pockets deep enough to one set it up properly and safely .
A full hydro set up as described by the benz guy is about $2000 and basic air setup it $2500 both plus install.
Unless you have pressure gauges for all 4 corners or height sensors you will never be able to get you alignment done properly . No one can guess a degree of camber spec from a driver seat .
Just some things to think about.
