Default Modified my Tail lights today :)

G day

What does everyone think of my tail lights

Well they are just a set of old second hand ones I bought that I have modded to be red/black/red. (I'm still yet to do the outer lights but the inner ones are done)

Looks pretty mean I think, Would look great on a black Celsior

Im going to selling sets of these if anyone is interested?

interesting.....more on how you did it pls?

looks like you filmed the center portion then used a ruler/straightedge with a razor to cut out strips.

I think it looks sort of cool - better than OEM and yes on a black car I think it would be a nice touch,

Looks good. Kind of like what I did to my UCF10.

Mr jcrome

How did you do you outer lights. Did you just tint over the orange, or have the been tinted from the inside ???? Thanks

Just taped off, and used VHT nightshade.

Several coats, and no clear so it had a matte finish to it.

arhhh yes this is a look im not a fan off,

Mine are tinted internally to avoid the matt look.

Do you find the indicators still show enough at night time.

So then you top it off with a clear coat... there's your satin finish.

It's much more of a PITA to split open the tails and re-seal them.
