Default Coilover question

having a brain fart, so i will ask this newb question.

Will the SC400 coilovers work on the LS400?

I think that they will since the 2 cars are on the same platform, but I just wanted to make sure.

Cool. Thank you for putting up with that newb question. I am VERY familar with the Toyota line and yes I know they are the same, but in previous experiences I know that the camry, camry/Solara suspension and the Avalon suspension parts work on each other, so I really didn;t know if that was the case here.

just picked up a 96 LS400 90k on the ODO and i am still learning about this land barge I love the car and have many plans for this beast.

np, welcome to the forums. the LS is of its own kind, there is no Toyota sibling (unless u say the crown). the SC shares the same chassis as the Supra. ES is the Camry and etc.

refer to the 2LS FAQ sticky above, there is much info that can be learned in that one thread made by PureDrifter.

the LS is a CF chassis car, the SC is a ZX chassis car.

they are NOT the same.

and no, not with the GS either, that's a ZS chassis.

I would not have even thought that the GS was the same chassis as the LS.

So i will throw out the SC to LS stuff out of the equation, unles it's engine components.

thanks for the info

Isn't the LS's japanese counterpart the Celsior, and not the crown? Lets hope not i just got the Celsior grill and badging, LOL!
