Help Me ID This Valve ...90 LS
I notice the hose connecting the valve in the picture completely cracked on my 90 LS 400. Can someone kindly identify which PCV valve it is and if you know it a part number would be great.

Thanks!!

IIRC, that is not a valve. I think that is your coolant temp sensor.

Move your finger!! But based on the diagram linked below, it looks like it may be a Bimetal Vacuum Switching Valve No. 1.

@trukn1, the coolant temp sensor is on the left side, he's pointing on the right side.

As he said....
However, I have found that some cars have them, others do not. I choose to do the EGR delete, and I simply removed the vacuum lines and haven't had a problem. This is supposed to slow the idle down when the coolant reaches a certain temp, which the computer does anyways. However, this is an emission thing that is done in the states, I do believe. It takes vacuum from the intake, and applies it to the fuel pressure regulator, well I just hooked mine up to constant vacuum. I have found that most 1UZs in Japan, Australia, Europe, and even in Canada don't have them, but LS4's got them for some reason.

okay i got the same problem
Well, i was trying to clean the area up a bit and i accidentally pulled the two vacuum hoses that connect to the valve switch...
I thought i had been the cause of breaking the nibbles off but apparently they were broken before since they tried glueing it back on. And yes, it was barely holding on.
Anyway, i did some research and here are the pricing results..
Bimetallic Vacuum Valve Switch (Looks like an F)
